Jesus said:

“Now I am going to him who sent me. None of you asks me where I am going, but your hearts are filled with sorrow because of what I have said to you. But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am going away. If I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you. But if I go away, I will send him to you, and he will reprove the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. Of sin, that they do not believe in me; of righteousness, that I go to the Father and you see me no more; and of judgment, that the prince of this world has been judged.

I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will lead you you into all truth. For he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will tell you things to come. He will glorify me, for he will receive from me what he will reveal to you.
