Gospel of Matt. 28:16–20 The Hidden God
All the eleven disciples went to Galilee and went up to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him, although some doubted. Jesus came to them and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” ( Matt. 28:16–20 Third Edition)

An introduction to an interesting topic
“The Hidden God” fascinates us, raising many questions and feelings. The Bible presents God in three forms: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Although no one has seen God personally, we all have a deep desire to get to know Him better. This article invites you to explore what the “hidden God” and His Triune Being mean for our faith.
We will delve deeper into the teachings of the Bible about the nature of God and His relationship with humanity. We will also examine how God’s mysteries are revealed in the world, in beauty, and in human actions.
The Mystery of God
The nature of God is shrouded in mystery. Since no one has ever seen Him, we trust what He has told us. God is the Creator of all things, who created the visible and invisible worlds. His infinity transcends the limits of human understanding. God reveals Himself through the Bible. He uses His prophets, such as Ezekiel and Isaiah, to share messages about His plans. Unfortunately, the prophets’ messages were not always heeded. For example, much of the nation of historical Israel turned away from God. However, God’s love has endured, and He has always sought a connection with His people.
Creation and the Time of the Prophets
God works in power through His Word. The Bible’s creation account tells us that the Spirit of God moved over the face of the waters before creation. All that exists was created at His command. When God spoke through His prophets, His will was made known. However, people’s attention could sometimes be distracted by things like slavery in Egypt or the social systems of Babylon. This eternal tragedy continues to recur, but God’s love remains steadfast. His goal has always been humanity’s relationship with Him.
The Son of God
God took a huge step in blessing the world in Jesus Christ. The Christmas Gospels tell of the miracle that Jesus, the Son of God, was born in the womb of the Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit. This combination of the human and the divine makes Jesus unique. Jesus’ coming into the world was not just a historical event. It was a new beginning. Through his life and teachings, we have the opportunity for reconciliation. Jesus brought the opportunity to restore the broken relationship with the Creator that occurred as a result of the Fall. The vast majority of the world’s population acknowledges Jesus as a follower. This proves his importance to us all.
The Holy Spirit and His Role
The third person of God, the Holy Spirit, is often less well known than the Father and the Son. However, his presence is just as important. The Holy Spirit was active in creation, and he has been present in all of God’s work. Although we cannot see the Holy Spirit, we can experience his influence in our lives. For example, many have reported feeling peace during difficult times, which indicates the work of the Holy Spirit. His influence is also seen in the love and goodness that guide us toward God’s will.
Connection
The doctrine of the Trinity is one of the most important parts of the Christian faith. Although God manifests as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we believe that He is one God. This is a complex but beautiful fact that has been discussed for centuries.
As individuals, we can experience God in three different ways, but at the same time we understand that He is one. This connection within the Trinity influences all of Scripture. God’s love, kingdom, and glory are at the center as we direct our lives according to His will.
God’s New Covenant
With the new covenant, the shed blood of Jesus opens doors for us that might have been considered closed before. This covenant is a promise of life with God. Jesus not only conquered sin and death; He has taken us into His own so that we could experience His grace. We need not fear, for through the new covenant, God wants to be present in our lives. This opportunity is both captivating and liberating. If you are seeking God, remember that He is coming to you, ready to receive you.
Although we cannot fully understand the nature of God, we can find Him in His presence, Goodness, and love. The journey is not just about gaining knowledge, but also about opening our hearts to God’s ways. As we learn to trust Him, we find peace that surpasses understanding. We do well to ask, “How can I live according to God’s will?” This question may seem daunting, but God is ready to help us every step of the way. The Holy Spirit guides us and gives us the strength to make good choices.
The Kingdom of God’s Love
One of the greatest gifts God offers is the opportunity to live in His kingdom. Through His love, He calls us to do His will. When we invite the Holy Spirit into our lives, we begin to experience the spread of love and goodness around us. Loving is not always easy, but it is part of God’s will. Sacrifice and forgiveness are key traits that God himself cherishes. It is important to remember that faith in God is not just a personal path, but a communal journey, the purpose of which is to grow together in the knowledge of the Lord.
In conclusion
The "Hidden God" is a complex concept that is not easy to find answers to. However, the triune nature of God opens up perspectives for us that help us to better understand Him. The Bible is full of God's revelations and promises.
All of these perspectives help us to understand that although God may seem hidden, He wants to be a part of our lives. Our Creator is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and yet one and the same God. The journey to Him is a connection that each of us can experience and share. We can experience God's presence when we seek things that are in accordance with His will. This is a great promise that lifts us up to a life that reflects His love, even if we do not fully understand Him. The Hidden God is present, and in every search there is an opportunity to meet Him. Welcome to this wonderful journey.
